"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths" - Walt Disney Through my travels, I have found myself intrigued by unique doorways, both literally and figuratively. Some times it is possible to enter the portal while other times I must imagine what the path leads to from the outside. Closed doors, whether vibrantly painted or decrepit and crumbling, are mysterious and enchanting sites. What started as a mere unintentional interest has become an ongoing theme in my travel photography. The photos that have been included in this essay are from a range of destinations, including Prague, New Delhi, Jaipur and Venice. My "curiosity keeps leading [me] down new paths," behind closed doors.
